Sawmill Demos
Multiple sawmill demonstrations throughout the day. We'll be demonstrating our methods for selecting logs, processing those logs for the best quality cuts, and more. If you've never had the chance to see a sawmill in action, you're in for a real treat! |

Workshop Demos
Our workshop has a variety of different pieces of equipment. Demonstrations will cover a variety of different topics on most all of our machines. Included will be safety information, proper upkeep and maintenance, plus more. For those who are interested, we also have our Powermatic lathe for some turning work while everyone is here. |

Log Yard & Turning Blank Storage Tour
Throughout the day you'll be welcome to browse around our log yard and turning blanks storage (AKA the "Candy Store"). We'll answer any questions you may have about different woods, and teach about species identification, log & turning blank storage and much more. |

Vacuum Kiln Demo
Our vacuum kiln will be demonstrated for everyone, and we'll discuss the advantages and disadvantages of different kiln drying methods. |

Lunch
We'll be providing lunch for everyone around 1 pm. Grilled hot dogs & chicken, coleslaw, baked beans, chips and some dessert as well. Soft drinks, water and sweet tea will be served to help everyone keep a little cooler! |

What You'll Need |
General Information |
We encourage everyone to bring along any of the following items for the day's activities. Remember that we will be outdoors for a good portion of the day, so please dress appropriately.
- Sunscreen
- Bug repellent
- Paper & pen for any note taking you'd like to perform
- Folding chairs
- Anything else you might need for your personal comfort throughout the day.
- Any pieces of wood you might like us to identify for you
- Wood turnings to share with everyone
