A Thank You Note to our Customers |
|
Thank you so much for your patience while we rebuild. We have plans to be back soon and better than ever. We're using this chance to expand the size of our shop, reorganize ourselves, and do things the way we want to from the ground up. On another positive note, we have a new VacuTherm vacuum kiln that should be delivered by early this coming year, and have nearly 10,000 BF of lumber ready to be stacked, dried and put up for sale! We may have hit a major speed bump recently due to this fire, but we'll look beyond the bad and keep focusing on all of the good. Thanks so much to the countless numbers of people who have been showing their support in every way imaginable since this has occurred.

Frequently Asked Questions |
-
Will the quality of the wood be affected in any way by the fire?
No. Each and every piece we have for sale is up to our normal quality standards. Every piece has been individually inspected and resealed to ensure you get no less than what you would normally expect from us. Some pieces may have a few black specks imbedded in the wax, but in no way will any wood that we ship out be damaged.
- How quickly will orders ship while we are rebuilding?
Orders will ship within 2 business days, as usual.
-
How quickly will new items be added to the web site's inventory?
We will resume cutting around the 3rd week of December and start replenishing our inventory as quickly as possible.
-
Will on-site visits to the shop be allowed?
No. On-site visits for the purpose of purchasing wood at our location will not be allowed until our shop is rebuilt and everything has been moved in. We will be using a nearby shop to run our operations, and would prefer not to have anyone other than our employees on the site until we return to our own.
-
Will customer service be affected in any way?
Yes, to a limited extent. Normally we try to answer emails and phone calls very quickly, and assist everyone as quickly as possible. Please understand that we are all working 80-100 hr work weeks already in order to catch up, and have a lot to do. We will still strive to do our absolute best in making sure each and every person is taken care of promptly.
- Will damaged wood be available for sale?
No, all damaged stock has been either sold or donated. Sorry!
-
Is there anything you can do to help?
Aside from some vacation time on a tropical island to relax after all this is over, the only thing we need is your continued support of our business! We have had an overwhelming number of emails, phone calls, letters and visitors since this all happened. It feels good to know just how much the woodturning community relies on what we do, and we promise to keep working hard to serve everyone as best we can.
