Product Description

Also known as Tigre Caspi or tigerwood. Suitable for intermediate level turners. Wood is typically light orange in color, with occasional streaks of brown and/or black. This species is very dense. Grain is typically straight. Turns very well, despite its density. Sands to a very high lustre, finishes easily, and is stable when dried.

Drying Tips:

This wood dries well, but slowly due to its density.

   Air dried to between 12% and 20% moisture content
   Fully sealed in wax to prevent degrade
   Protective wax seal guaranteed for 30 days
