Recommended for experienced turners. Wood is typically tan or light brown in color. This species is moderately hard.
Grain can be straight, wavy or twisted. Clean cuts require sharp tools. Sands to a medium lustre, finishes easily,
and is somewhat stable when dried.

These pieces may occasionally contain some small bark inclusions.
Drying Tips:
This wood has a tendency to deform during drying. Leave roughed out forms slightly thicker to allow for
shrinkage.Dry slowly to minimize checking in burled woods.
