Suitable for inexperienced turners. Wood is typically a mixture of dark blue and greyish blue colors. Nearly all pieces from this batch contain varying amounts of curly figure. This species is moderately hard. Grain can be straight or interlocked. Clean cuts require sharp tools. Sands to a medium lustre, finishes easily, and is somewhat stable when dried.

Drying Tips:

This wood dries well and should not require special care.
