Product Description

Recommended for experienced turners. Wood is typically tan to light brown in color, with occasional areas of slightly lighter sapwood. This species is moderately hard. Grain can be straight or interlocked. Cutting requires sharp tools. Sands to a medium lustre, finishes easily, and is stable when dried.

These pieces may occasionally contain light mineral stain or trace amounts of black line spalting.

Drying Tips:

This wood has a high initial moisture content and will require extended drying times.
