Product Description

Recommended for experienced turners. Wood is typically light pink in color, with some tan colored sapwood. This species is moderately hard. Grain can be straight or wavy. Cuts well. Sands to a medium lustre, finishes easily, and is somewhat stable when dried.

Special Note:

These pieces may occasionally contain light mineral stain or trace amounts of black line spalting.

Drying Tips:

This wood has a tendency to deform during drying. Leave roughed out forms slightly thicker to allow for shrinkage.
