Product Description

Recommended for experienced turners. Wood is typically tan in color with some reddish brown heartwood. This species is moderately hard. Grain can be straight or wavy. Cuts well. Sands to a medium lustre, finishes easily, and is stable when dried.

Special Note:

These pieces may occasionally contain light mineral stain or trace amounts of black line spalting.

Drying Tips:

This wood has a tendency to deform during drying. Leave roughed out forms slightly thicker to allow for shrinkage.
