Product Description

Recommended for experienced turners. Wood is typically tan or brown in color. This species is moderately hard. Grain can be straight or wavy. Cutting requires sharp tools. Sands to a high lustre, finishes easily, and is somewhat stable when dried.

Special Note:

May occasionally contain small amounts of reddish-brown heartwood.

Drying Tips:

This wood has a tendency to deform during drying. Leave roughed out forms slightly thicker to allow for shrinkage.
