Recommended for experienced turners. Wood is typically tan or brown in color. This species is moderately hard. Grain
can be straight or wavy. Cutting requires sharp tools. Sands to a high lustre, finishes easily, and is somewhat
stable when dried.
Special Note:
May occasionally contain small amounts of reddish-brown heartwood.
Drying Tips:
This wood has a tendency to deform during drying. Leave roughed out forms slightly thicker to allow for shrinkage.
