Product Description

Recommended for experienced turners. Wood is typically dark yellow in color with some white colored sapwood. This species is moderately hard, dense, and straight grained. Cutting requires sharp tools. Sands to a medium lustre, finishes easily, and is stable when dried.

Special Note:

These pieces may occasionally contain light mineral stain or trace amounts of black line spalting.

Drying Tips:

This wood should be dried slowly to reduce the chances of checking.
