Wood is typically a bright orange color, with slight variations in orange tones. This species is very dense. Grain is typically straight. Sometimes contains light curly figure. Turns very well, despite its density. Sands to a very high lustre, finishes easily, and is stable when dried.

This wood dries well, but slowly due to its density.
