Recommended for experienced turners. Wood is typically golden brown in color. This species is moderately hard, dense, and straight grained. Cutting requires sharp tools. Sands to a high lustre, finishes easily, and is stable when dried.

This wood is very dense and will require slow drying and extended drying times.
