Kiln Dried Soft Maple

Soft Maple turns smoothly with sharp tools, making it a favorite for both beginners and experienced turners. Its grain is generally fine and even, allowing for clean cuts, easy sanding, and good detail. When properly dried, soft maple provides good stability and accepts stains and finishes well.
