Kiln Dried Afromosia
Afromosia is also known is African teak. It is similar in color and grain pattern to true teak. Suitable for
inexperienced turners. Wood is typically a golden yellow or golden brown color with off white colored sapwood. This
species is moderately hard, dense, and straight grained. Cutting requires sharp tools. Sands to a high lustre,
finishes easily, and is stable when dried.
