Recommended for experienced turners. Wood is typically white or off white in color. This species is hard. Grain can be straight or wavy. Cutting requires sharp tools. Sands to a high lustre, finishes easily, and is stable when dried.

These pieces may occasionally contain light mineral stain.

Drying Tips:

This wood has a tendency to deform during drying. Leave roughed out forms slightly thicker to allow for shrinkage.
