Suitable for experienced turners. Wood is typically reddish-brown in color with occasional tan colored sapwood. This
species is fairly soft. Grain swirls in multiple directions. Clean cuts require sharp tools. Sands to a medium
lustre, may require some care in finishing,and is fairly stable when dried.

These pieces are solid burl throughout, and have no defects present in any pieces.

This wood should be dried slowly to minimize checking.
