Recommended for experienced turners. Wood is typically light pink in color. This species is relatively soft. Grain can be straight or wavy. Cuts well. Sands to a medium lustre, may require some care in finishing,and is stable when dried.

Drying Tips:

To reduce minor surface checking in softwoods, we recommend misting the wood surface while rough turning.
