KD Shedua
Also known by many other names, most commonly ovangkol, mozambique and amazakoue. Recommended for experienced
turners. Wood is typically a dark brown color with streaks of varying brown shades and black. Lots of unique color
varations. This species is hard, dense and has interlocked grain. Light to mdedium curly figure occurs quite
regularly in this wood. Cutting requires sharp tools. Sands to a very high lustre, finishes easily, and is stable
when dried.
