Product Description

Suitable for inexperienced turners. Wood is typically light pink in color. This species is moderately hard. Grain can be straight or wavy. Cuts well. Sands to a medium lustre, finishes easily, and is stable when dried.

These pieces may occasionally contain light curly figure.

   Kiln dried to below 10% moisture content
   End grain sealed in wax to maintain moisture content

My experience with it wood

I ordered 2 12x3 KD cherry blanks to turn into chip/dip platters for Christmas gifts. Needed to have them ready by December 23. Both blanks came quickly. As I was final sanding the first one it flew off the lathe and shattered. I ordered a replacement in hopes I could get it quickly while I turned the second blank. The replacement blank got to my house in 3 calendar days. You went above and beyond and the replacement blank was completed on December 21. Thank you
