Pieces contain light to moderate curl and/or pomelle figure. Recommended for experienced turners. Wood is typically reddish brown in color with minimal sapwood. This species is hard and dense. Grain is irregular and wavy. Clean cuts require sharp tools. Sands to a high lustre, finishes easily, and is stable when dried.
