Product Description

Recommended for experienced turners. Wood is typically dark brown in color with some tan colored sapwood. This species is hard, dense and straight grained. Cutting requires sharp tools. Sands to a high lustre, may require some care in finishing,and is stable when dried.
Special Note:
These pieces may occasionally contain light curly figure.

   Kiln dried to below 10% moisture content
   End grain sealed in wax to maintain moisture content
   Protective wax seal guaranteed for 30 days
   Guaranteed defect-free (Full quality standards listed below)

ordered and received 4 blanks: cherry, maple, walnut, poplar. All blanks are excellent quality. Service was great.
One comment regarding an additional service. I am able to buy 3x3x12 blanks at the local WoodCraft store that are predrilled. I've done my own drilling but the quality is not as good as the store bought. A maple blank predrilled is $21. Not sure if that fits your business model but the extra money is worth it for me.
