Recommended for experienced turners due to additional hardness and density. Wood typically has some variations in color. Most commonly this wood is a medium reddish brown color. This species is very hard. Grain is typically straight. Clean cuts require sharp tools. Sands to a high lustre, finishes easily, and is stable when dried.
