Product Description

Soft Maple is a versatile, light-colored hardwood valued for its easy workability and attractive grain. The wood typically ranges from creamy white to light tan, sometimes with subtle gray or reddish tones, offering a clean, neutral appearance. Soft Maple turns smoothly with sharp tools, making it a favorite for both beginners and experienced turners. Its grain is generally fine and even, allowing for clean cuts, easy sanding, and good detail. When properly dried, soft maple provides good stability and accepts stains and finishes well. Common uses include turning blanks, bowls, spindles, furniture parts, painted projects, and decorative turnings.
Special Note:
These pieces will be relatively clean. No ambrosia streaks or heavty mineral stain!!
