Kiln Dried Ambrosia Maple (Heavy Figure)
Ambrosia Maple is a visually striking hardwood distinguished by the dramatic streaks and patterns created by ambrosia beetle activity. The base wood ranges from creamy white to light tan, contrasted by blue-gray, black, and brown markings that make every piece unique.
Despite its bold appearance, Ambrosia Maple retains the strength and fine grain typical of maple. It machines and turns smoothly with sharp tools, holds detail well, and accepts finishes beautifully. Clear finishes especially enhance the natural contrast and character of the wood.
