Kiln Dried Teak
Genuine Teak (Tectona grandis) is a premium tropical hardwood prized for its rich golden-brown color, exceptional durability, and natural resistance to moisture, rot, and insects. The wood typically ranges from warm honey-gold to medium brown, often darkening with age and exposure.
Genuine Teak turns smoothly with sharp tools, producing clean cuts and crisp detail. Its fine to medium texture sands well, and the natural oils allow it to finish to a smooth, satin luster. When properly dried, teak offers excellent stability and long-term performance, even in demanding environments.
Common uses include turning blanks, bowls, spindles, tool handles, furniture components, marine items, and decorative turnings.
