Product Description

Suitable for inexperienced turners. Wood is typically tan or white in color with streaks of color throughout. This species is moderately hard. Grain can be straight or wavy. Cuts well. Sands to a high lustre, finishes easily, and is stable when dried.

Special Note:

Streaks in these pieces are caused by the ambrosia beetle, so insect holes may be present in the wood. Will contain moderate to heavy quantities of ambrosia lines. These pieces may also occasionally contain light mineral stain.

   End grain sealed in wax to maintain moisture content

New lid

Purchased this to become a lid on a ceramic bowl, previous lid was broke, not going to say who. Quite certain this will work great and turn really well, have turned similar products in the past from Got Wood. You guys Rock. Keep cutting more wood.
