Product Description

This wood has grain patterns nearly identical to that of wenge, but a totally different color! Also known as Lati. Recommended for experienced turners. Wood is typically an off white to yellowish color. This species is hard, dense, and straight grained. Sands to a high lustre, finishes easily, and is stable when dried.

Special Note:

Care should be taken to avoid touching pieces while turning, as splinters are common prior to sanding.
