Afromosia strongly resembles Teak in color, but it lacks Teak’s naturally oily character. It also dries readily with little degrade and has good dimensional stability.
Why it matters: Afromosia offers a Teak-like appearance in turned boxes, bowls and vessels without the same oily-surface concerns. Teak may require additional preparation before applying glue or certain finishes.
