Hard Maple is a strong, durable hardwood valued for its light color, fine grain, and excellent workability. The wood ranges from creamy white to light tan, sometimes with subtle golden tones, giving it a clean, bright appearance. Hard Maple turns cleanly with sharp tools, producing crisp detail and smooth cuts. Its dense, tight grain sands well and accepts finishes evenly, making it suitable for both functional and decorative turning projects.
