Product Description

White Limba (Terminalia superba)—often called Limba—is a light-colored African hardwood valued for its smooth texture, subtle figure, and easy workability. The wood ranges from pale yellow to light tan, sometimes with faint gray streaks that add gentle character. White Limba turns smoothly with sharp tools, producing clean cuts and good detail. Its grain is generally straight with a fine to medium texture, making it easy to shape and sand. When properly dried, White Limba offers good stability and finishes well, highlighting its natural warmth. Common uses include turning blanks, bowls, spindles, furniture components, utility items, and decorative turnings.
